"Yikes, Cruz drops to 3rd. "

That's because he stopped talking about Jesus.

Rubio is a neocon. He’ll restart the wars in the middle east and probably squander thousands of US lives trying to create democracies in Iraq and Syria.

He is an inexperienced lightweight and will be controlled by his advisors.

Not true, Trump won the evangelical vote in western Iowa.

“He is killing himself with stupid statements”

People have been saying that for 7 months.

I agree he is light in experience. But I don’t think anyone is ready to be President, you have to live it. That has been true of all our great Presidents. I don’t think anyone is going to restart a war in the middle east right now. Will he address the problem, yes he will. I would be worried about anyone that did not listen to their advisers. ie. Donal Trump.

Latest NH poll with internals:
30% will never vote Trump.
4% will never vote Cruz.

"If Cruz picks up 4 of the undecided and 5 of Trump’s softies, he is at 23% or only three points behind Trump."

Ah, the power of positive thinking.

Alas, there's NO WAY Cruz finishes above 15% in NH.

NH is not kind to the evangelical candidate and has never been. They only have like 13 Evangelicals in the entire state.

And, note, it was Ted Cruz who decided they would be the most courted in his campaign. That decision is what set up the NH dynamic.

The risk for Cruz is if he appears to walk back his on-the-sleeve faith to pander to secular voters in NH. That could cost him dearly in SC. And beyond.

I agree. Trump is driving up Cruz’s negatives and sinking his likability. Identifying him as a cheater and fibber. He will continue that through S.C.

Yikes, Cruz drops to 3rd.

Wow, the media didn't rally to Cruz's cause and help sweep him to victory after his Iowa win. They hyped the third place GOPe fall guy instead.

No one saw that coming. They were so supportive of Huckabee and Santorum in 2008 and 2012. It's a conumdrum.

I'm starting to really wonder about their caucus, they're wacky.

What do you get if you cross an election with a vaudeville show?

The Iowa Caucus.

"Rubio’s plan from the first is to slowly peak. 3rd in Iowa, 2nd in N.H. and 1st in South Carolina. If he does that he wins. Anyone who still thinks he is the establishment choice just does not pay attention to the facts. He is as conservative as Cruz with a different style. Yes, I am aware of the gang of eight. So what, everyone was trying to do something with Immigration. Cruz has moved so far to the right on this issue he has no hope of winning a general election. Rubio is not McCain or Romney or they would have already endorsed him. HE can do the same things Cruz can do only he can build unity in order to govern."

It was only a matter of time before a Rubio supporter was dumb enough to raise the hand on Free Republic.

Yikes, Cruz drops to 3rd.

He's always been in 3rd in NH.

"He's always been in 3rd in NH. "

Actually 3rd is a couple of steps up.

But he needs to stay there to remain viable.

I think Cruz does better than 15%. We shall see.

I think Cruz will emphasize his more libertarian side in NH.

He has already recruited a lot of Rand’s PAC money and Carson former staffers.

I that is Cruz’s real ‘sin’. Armstrong imploded Carson’s campaign and now is mad that Cruz got their best staffers...

If those opposed to Trump had instead gone to Cruz...the Donald may have been tripped up.

You just don't get it. That was never in the cards. Those GOPe types who oppose Trump hate Cruz.

Yes, I am aware of the gang of eight. So what, everyone was trying to do something with Immigration.

Not Sessions or Cruz. Just because almost everyone is in the tank for the globalists doesn't mean we should just give up. Of the candidates still running only Trump and Cruz are against amnesty.

Amnesty is the globalist's E ticket. They win that they've won it all. America destroyed and what's left of her absorbed into the world system. Rubio is their last hope of having amnesty candidates nominated by both parties, assuring their final victory in November. That's why everything is now lining up for Rube in the media.

Time for Cruz to ... endorse Trump.

The only way that happens is if Trump is the nominee. And even then, I'd be shocked.

Cruz loves God and the Constitution.

Trump appears to know little about God and the Constitution and uses them only when necessary in the art of the deal.

"It's the economy stupid" will always be the true driving force of elections, sadly.

What happened to Kasich? He was second.

He was endorsed by The New York Times.

Kiss of death.
