Oh no! Video is unavailable! Yes, I have watched the videos of the hearins and discussions about the threat of EMP. I am stocking up too. Also trying to learn some other skills. I learned how to make sauerkraut and we bought a small greenhouse two years ago which really came in handy last year. Had a bumper crop of paste tomatoes. Also trying to learn about rocket stoves and alternative means of heating. Look up “Rocket Stove Mass heater”.

So $38 per person at Lakeview on March 12. I would like to go and it >might< be possible. Oh, it’s a Tuesday, and birthday.
Well youngest son might like to go as a Birthday present.
Tuesday...Mrs p6 will be working and probably youngest son too.
But $120+ might not be doable...sigh.

Hmmm Now I see 2 birthdays. Not looking good but who knows? I still might be able to swing it.
Dr said he won’t put her under anesthesia just for a lip snip (my term!). However, he said she has fluid in her ears and asked if there is a history of ear infection. There is. So, she goes back in two months. If the fluid is still there, he is going to put tubes in her ears. He will also do the lip-snip. He said she’s probably not talking because her hearing is impaired from the fluid in her ears.
Good grief! What next??
Oh no! Another two months! Prayers continue.
Oh wow—she has been thru a lot! Sorry to learn she might need tubes, but two of mine had then (when little) and they helped w/general health greatly. It’s just one more “thing” she has to go thru.
Up thread i read your discussion about prophecy and the end times. Sneakers, did you read anything about the Pope saying “we all pray to one G-d” ?? (In the context of a Kumbaya moment w/Muslims) I’m no longer on FB, but PaDad showed it to me on the weekend and he (a convert to Catholicism) read a post about they and was very upset. It made me think immediately, about the prophecy of the “last Pope” being an “anti-Pope” in the end times. Anyways, the whole thing reinforced my ongoing thoughts that up is now down; and everything “is” what the loudest voice says it is.
No wonder why I get jazzed watching a Lizard people episode of the XFiles.
Sigh.
Oh my! Start looking on Amazon (or eBay) for the replacement. I’m sure it’s online somewhere :-/
YAY! I found the power cord! It was hinging in the hall closet...where I put it because it looked special!
I am out of the doghouse, at least on that point.

So to get mrs p6 into an agreeable mood I recorded Phantom of the Opera and when she got home from babysitting we had a short dinner then started watching. Made it most of the way through before we both started falling asleep.
I then started talking to her about the Quinn and Rose reunion dinner.
SURPRISE! It’s SOLD OUT!!!!!
And after I searched and found her sewing machine power cord.
All that work and suffering through Phantom for NOTHING!
Love that music.
Lakeview is a few miles from CasaPaMom...bummer that it’s sold out.
I noticed its promoted as a reunion dinner. Are they going on air again together?
We drive by there visiting our Daughter and grandkids..we go out to eat..
