Rush cleared a lot up with this.

Jennifer Burke did some great journalism here.

MSM and Trump are desperately trying to get Cruz to lose focus on NH and to rehash Iowa.

Who else has been able to discombobulate Trump like this?

Different phase of the fight. Once Cruz’s Iowa poll numbers began to rise into double digits, other candidates’ polls being something like a targeting radar for Trump, he turned the venom stream Cruz’s way. In a horse race there comes a time when tactics shift and a rider in the number 2 position must move over and push forward. Calling Cruz a Canadian, nasty, unlikable, copy cat on immigration, etc. signaled the time for Cruz to shift lanes and pass. Which to Trump’s obvious chagrin is exactly what he did. Now Cruz is baiting Trump into a froth hoping people in New Hampshire will note the foam and realize there’s something fundamentally wrong with the man. Frankly, by not sticking with the statesman like tone he set Monday night he’s making things easier for Cruz.

Yeah?
Who stood up to the ethanol corn lobby in Iowa and was viciously attacked b the ethanol corn lobby with massive attack ads on TV and relentlessly attacked by the governor of Iowa himself, and still won Iowa? The fearless, principled Ted Cruz.
Who pandered shamelessly to the ethanol corn lobby and still lost in Iowa? Donald Trump.

Donald Trump’s sister is one of the most pro abortion judges on the planet. Trump himself has been pro abortion most of his life.
I am going to ignore anything he’s said since he decided to run for president and needed GOP conservative votes. That is pure pandering. Donald Trump is one of the biggest liars ever born.

Rubio in second place in New Hampshire. NH voters are notorious late deciders with as many as half picking a candidate in the last 3 days.

http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/268181-rubio-surges-to-second-in-new-hampshire-poll

If the Trump/Cruz death grip continues, Rubio might pull of a win there.

Facts are facts. The 5 and 7 year olds have much better manners than DT who has none.

“We ALL thought Roberts was a rock solid conservative so get over yourself.”

Wrong. Some of us were opposed to the John Roberts nomination at the time he was in the confirmation hearing. I warned he was not committed to the same goals. Now I’m warning you that Cruz and Rubio are not what they pretend to be to the conservative voters.

I agree: no conservative thought Roberts would be unreliable. Many warned Reagan about Sandra Day O’Connor, and he turned his back to them, for he wanted to the President who named the first woman to the court.

then you were a lone voice.

on that same note, you cannot possibly convince yourself or others that Trump is not a full blown liberal, spouting conservative principals while its convenient to him, but not having an ounce of conviction.

Whiskey....just this week he was pitching nationalized healthcare!!! Come on dude.

“then you were a lone voice.”

No, I was not a lone voice. We were simply drowned out by the mob, same as now, especially after Hillary Clinton and the usual suspects came out and officially opposed the nomination.

“on that same note, you cannot possibly convince yourself or others that Trump is not a full blown liberal, spouting conservative principals while its convenient to him, but not having an ounce of conviction.”

You Cruz and Rubio supporters are so blinded by ambitions that you simply refuse to understand that opposition to your favorite new saint does not equate to an approval or endorsement of another candidate.

“Whiskey....just this week he was pitching nationalized healthcare!!! Come on dude.”

For the record, he did not do so; you are making an inaccurate accusation. Trump observed the common sense fact that the public health and welfare requires some means of taking care of people who are unable to care of themselves. The United States has been doing that since the beginning of the Republic by one means or another since 1776. They used to have institutions such as the county poorhouses and other methods in past history. At the most you can say Trump is promising to promote some form of social welfare medicine that can be controversial to conservatives. Just don’t go around inventing falsehoods to exaggerate falsely. It does not benefit the debate to waste time and create unnecessary divisions amongst ourselves with disinformation. Trump has plenty of genuine failings to criticize without making up false ones. Now go ahead and pursue Trump with real and valid criticisms that advance the debate, I’m not a supporter for him or any other candidate, so you’re not going to hurt my feelings.

It's part of the game. Trump claims he bashes only when bashed first, but that's nonsense. He's initiated the attacks on numerous occasions.
