The Yellow Peril. Crap you can’t even say “orient” anymore.
The closer we get to going to war with the Peril and their illegal and (with us around) unenforceable claims on the South China Sea, the less you can say about them, apparently.
I remember when the word "Orient" was banned by the PC police (hey, sue me). I also remember how fragrant and romantic the name of Northwest Orient Airlines was, painted in huge letters on the side of a big gray-and-red-liveried 747 rotating in the middle of his takeoff run, just before leaving the ground, not to touch it again until he was thousands of miles away in Far Cathay or the Japanese Home Islands.
