i’m going to look that up right now.
i’m 47 but lost most hearing in right ear from head injury.
hearing aid sounds like a microphone lol
I was 67 yrs. with my first...in a few days I'll be 73, holy cow, how did that happen...oh well, age is just a number..think young, stay young!!!!
The Cochlear web site is very informative and your audiologist should be a big asset to help you...Mine sure did, they encouraged me all the way, and had my surgeries at UPMC in Pittsburgh..
Both my adult kids, are in the medical world, and they were so helpful, hubby was totally lost, but was a good learner...wink~wink. But I learned so much from Rush, as he gave a great deal of info of what he was going thru..He just got his second implant about a year ago...I'm sure he is a happy camper as am I...
So I encourage you to investigate and seek support and help. It is so wonderful to be able to hear and HEAR ALWAYS..
Cochlear has Celebrations every two years...wonderful experience, maybe we will met up at one...who knows!!! wish you the best... (p.s. we are a special select group, there are about 225,000 CI WORLD WIDE)
