Both Cruz and Rubio made the assumptions that they made, because they wanted Carson’s voters.

All they had to do was call and verify, but they didn’t, so their courses of action based on their assumptions are on them. Whatever happens as a result or not happens or not.

As far as Trump saying it affected him, nonsense. Trump lost because he didn’t do a good enough job in convincing voters to vote for him, and he hasn’t been helping himself all day long with regard to this matter.

I think it’s a mix of the craziness in the twitter world, the adrenaline of campaign staffers on the Rubio and Cruz staffs. I know I’m looking for EVERY advantage if I’m a staffer. It was a thoughtless thing to do, but it didn’t affect the outcome.

Trump’s reaction illustrates why I don’t support him for president. But, then again, I don’t support any of them at this point.
