Just wondering. We’re a couple of days past this now, and has anyone come forward saying “I was going to vote for Carson, but I voted for Cruz because I heard Carson was dropping out”? I certainly haven’t heard about anyone saying that, and it’s a fair bet that Carson (or Trump) would be parading them before the cameras if there were any such voters.

I’ve been wondering the same thing. If I had switched my vote based on incorrect info, I would be screaming holy he11. Nobody would have to parade me out in front of cameras, either, I would find them myself.

Think of the 2012 campaign in Iowa. Remember the candidate of the week?

Iowa is very early in the process and the images of the candidates have not solidified in the minds of those who are not ideological and political junkies. Candidates seem attractive, draw closer scrutiny, and then a lot of voters move on to someone else. Carson is not somehow different, and neither is Trump or Cruz for that matter.
