We’re not even sure Cruz *is* a US citizen.
Much less a “natural born citizen†as required (no, it’s not optional) by the US (not Canadian) Constitution.
He bailed on his Canadian citizenship after deciding he would like to be the first foreign born US president, and it’s not at all clear that he ever applied for US citizenship.
Of course his Dad was a Cuban Castro `freedom fighter†and it looks like Mom renounced her US citizenship for Canuckistan, but someone sealed her records, so who knows?
It’s deja vu all over again.
In any event, the Cruz’s are basically a family of Cubanadians. You can shut up and vote for him if you want. Most of us will vote for the American.
