TRUMP: I will 'probably' sue because Ted Cruz cheated in Iowa
AOL News /Boston Herald ^ | Feb 3rd 2016 1:19PM | Pam Engel

After accusing Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) of "illegally" stealing a win from the Iowa caucuses, Donald Trump said Wednesday that he'll "probably" sue over the results of the vote.

Trump said this in an interview on Boston Herald Radio

When asked if he would file a formal complaint over the caucuses' results, Trump replied, "probably."

"What [Cruz] did is unthinkable," Trump said, later stating that Cruz was a "really fraudulent" character.

Earlier in the day, Trump fired off a raging tweetstorm accusing Cruz of cheating in Iowa. Trump even suggested the Republican Party take the unprecedented step of holding a do-over election in Iowa or nullifying Cruz's results.

“Trump: I lost so we should have a do-over”

Ha, ha, ha.

Donnie, should we re-do the debate in Iowa so you can participate, too?

There’s no mulligans in politics, Donnie.

Can anybody prepare a crying baby Democrat seal for the Poor Loserman?

“No, Trump looks unhinged”

You mean like the 10000000000000000000000000000 times someone said that?

He’s controlling the news cycle via tweets. Then he goes on TV or to a rally and people dont see the “unhinged”.

But yet you guys spread the tweets around like trained monkeys, forcing people to tune in to see what he will do!

Of course they will end up with Cruz. Club For Growth will make sure of it.

Interesting you consider this Cruz’s trick when it was posted first by many others.

“And here you are, doing the same thing.”

I’m laughing at you guys! The story of “Cruz: the vote cheater” is becoming the talk of the internet!

Pretty damn distasteful of Trump to run around threatening law suits against anyone who disagrees with him.

So far, threatened suits against Univision, Fox network, two against Ted Cruz. This is only through a couple of months.

I got money...I’m right all the time, mess with me, I’ll sue you.

How unfortunate. I heard that Rand is leaving the race, I would imagine that Cruz will pick up the bulk of his base. With Trump’s high negatives, it would seem that he would be focused on discussing important issues rather than wasting time on silly spats.
Conservatives are supporting Cruz, Trump and to a lessor extent Rubio.
It appears that the first wall that Trump is building is a wall that separates him from Cruz voters. Not a very wise decision.

Funny isn’t it. How many Freepers complained that the GOPe wouldn’t fight Obama’s corruption and now, many of the same are just rolling on past the cheating.

They scream about Obama not being able to say the obvious “Islamic terrorist” label but they can’t bring themselves to admit “cheating” has occurred. They’re too busy dancing to the tune of St. Cruz.

One thing I also find extremely interesting. Almost 100% of Tycoons hate lawyers and hate the thought of litigation.

Somethings going on in Trump's head.

Trump would have a rather solid case to make, seeing how the Cruz campaign committed election fraud.

Oh, BS. Defeat must be quite a difficult pill to swallow when all these run-the-table expectations have been built up over the past seven months.

Rand and Cruz both are funded by Club For Growth. That PAC will make sure Rand’s voters go to Cruz.

It's amazing how successful the establishment GOPe has been in grooming some Freepers to just accept cheating. Good little minions.

Yes. If Trump were trying to pull these shenanigans I wouldn't defend it. He would have a problem.

Trump needs to move on indeed. Tell the press that he was shocked at what went on, but he’s got bigger fish to fry and let it go for now.

If you are in a contest, any contest, and it becomes apparent someone jiggered the game, are you going to sit idly by? Or are you going to call the opponent to account? At the very least so that something similar does not happen again. Stating that there were irregularities highlights that you won’t be steamrolled. The “I’m going to sue” routine is childish IMO. I would rather hear how you intend to redouble your efforts so that even the underhanded tactics will still fall short.
