We can but hope that she has shed some of the pounds she slapped on while on tour.

Lady Gaga is great - truly talented. She has toned it down over the past few years and is a serious artist.

You might not like her persona, but that woman is incredibly talented, musically. She has a strong, clear voice, great piano skills, and more.
I don’t like her ‘sense of style’ any more than most of my fellow Freepers, but I won’t deny her talent.

You can’t tell? Is there anyone else who doesn’t know whether Stephanie is a man or a woman?...Even after you’ve seen her half-naked? Come on, man!

It’s refreshing.

She is classically trained, but realized at a performance at a small venue that the Lady Gaga persona sold tickets. If you look beyond the costuming and pizazz the music is good and she is a very accomplished singer. Glenn Beck pointed out how well she covered the songs from "The Sound of Music". It's on youtube.

Nobody sings the National Anthem any more. They perform it. Disrespectfully.

Has nothing to do with not liking her persona.
And honestly, that “persona” is enough to dislike her anyway.
Doesn’t matter how “talented” you supposedly are if you present yourself as trash.

At least the Anthem is short, not the miserable half hour of gyrations and noise that half-time shows have become. Of course, that’s when viewers can eat, drink and go to the bathroom without missing something important, so half-time shows don’t matter.

Nobody sings the National Anthem any more. They perform it. Disrespectfully. The only time I can remember my father ever being angry enough to almost throw something at the TV was when (I think it was Jose Feleciano) did a non-traditonal rendition of the anthem in the late '60's or early '70's.
Now it is even worse, and butchered beyond recognition.
Rosanne's antic summed up the left's opinion of the anthem.

Honestly, she’s a pro-homo propagandist.
She is, as listed on several pages championing it, “Gaga is an outspoken activist for LGBT rights worldwide”.

I’m sure my parents felt the same way regarding Rock bands of the 60’ and 70’s.
