On December 19, Chechen police detained a professor of economics at Grozny University, 37-year-old Khizir Yezhiyev, after he published a critical post in social networks. The professor's body was found on January 1 in the forest of Urus Martan region. The official cause of death in the police paperwork said: "Fell off a cliff." Where should we look for a culprit? George Soros, of course. lololKadyrov further incited outrage earlier this month by using Stalin-era language in his hate campaign, pushing for punishment of "enemies of the people" first on a Chechen official web side, then in an article published by Izvestia newspaper. He was referring to journalists of independent radio Echo of Moscow, RBK, Rain TV, and opposition and Russian civil society leaders, who often criticized Putin's politics.
