No. Let Trump join with his friend hitlery. They have more in common.

I am happy for Trump supporters and their cause. I cannot stomach any more of the Donald though.

I think people are overplaying Cruz’s reliance on evangelicals.

I identify as evangelical and I do think they will be more mobilized than ever this year, but I do think Cruz reaches well beyond our group.

If it were only about evangelicals, then Huckabee would not have dropped out and Ben Carson would have done much better.

People want a strong conservative. Way back when a Kennedy lost the Mass senate seat, it was apparent that even in the Northeast, people would like to see principled conservatives be given a chance to govern.

To pretend that moderate Republicans have not been given a chance at governance is absurd.

A broad public would like to give the constantly demonized conservatives a chance to prove their constant advocacy.

I think Trump hurt himself more than he knows with all his Cruz bashing. I think his numbers will be down in New Hampshire.

GOPE is clearly trying to go all in on Rubio. I don’t think that will happen but they also want Trump and Cruz to damage each other enough to allow Cruz to sneak in. This is not 2012 so I don’t think that master plan is going to work out for GOPE.

Back in 1988, Dole won the IA cauci on a Monday night. On Wednesday the sitting POTUS invited his VPOTUS, who’d just lost IA, for a private lunch in the WH. Nonetheless, pix of the private lunch were widely distributed. Basically the POTUS was endorsing him.

The VPOTUS went on to win NH, the nomination, and election. IIRC, as he came out to make his victory speech on election night, his opponent having conceded, his first public statement was : THANK YOU, NEW HAMPSHIRE!

Here’s my counter offer: Give us Trump or we will give you Clinton and then we can all watch her burn this country to the ground.

Perhaps something good will rise from the ashes.

I think its too late for that. If I were Trump I would totally distance myself from Cruz. Either win on your own or lose. But not smart to align with a guy who just got reprimanded by the Iowa Sec of State over shaming letters and then had to apologize to Ben Carson for dirty tricks. I don’t think any other of the GOP candidates has had any of this kind of antics that I’ve heard of.

Sorry, but no. Cruz supporters did a scorched earth campaign to get him a Iowa win at all costs, and burned too many bridges in the process. From Trump/Carson/Hucakabee supporters on.

I too worry about multiple more grassroots/conservative candidates tearing their viability to pieces, while the GOPe unites behind a single candidate to clean up through the mess.

It seems like we never learn.

I think I’m going to change my mind on my hopes for a Trump/ Cruz team.

I’m going to lean more towards a Trump/ Rubio team.

I’m sick of Cruz and all his supporters.

He won Iowa but he was predicted to do that. Now it’s time to really show what he has.

No longer a supporter of a Cruz anything ticket.

Having shown that he believes Cruz is constitutionally ineligible to be president, Trump can hardly choose him as vice president.

Heard that broadcast and a regular listener who more often than not disagrees with her asessments on candidates and particularly in this 2016 campaign.

Previously Weve had a bunch of republican presidents who were populists and believed in an expanded government role. Nixon, GB and GWB are recent examples. Now that government is your face in everything up the point that the democrats are flaming socialists and our country so screwed up it is time to roll government back to its constitutional format of divisions of powers.

She claims to be a conservative. But she’s advocating populisism ?
Here Trump seals a deal with the GOPES (government over the people elite state-ists) also known as country club republicans, and gets their endorsements from the establishment in the Crony Corn King lobby and even advocates expanded mandated Ethanol. Because he thinks dumping this government mandated junk inro your gas tank will help him carry IOWA .

She complained about that position but that was it. She couldn’t cross that denouncement line . Because she feels a candidate like Trump who when he proclaimed that position unfortinately he confirmed just what Cruz pointed out what he was. By winning that election Cruz proved that citizens would prefer look to their own devices not dependency on government.

Cruz must recognize that he needs Trump to win in the Granite State.

Oh, must he? The longer Trump is in race taking potential support from him, the better for Cruz? Makes sense. Funny how no one called on Trump to support Cruz in Iowa.
