If Ted looked more like Tom Cruz(Not a cross between Tricky Dick and Quentin Tarantino), had a deeper voice, was a half a foot taller, didn't play with snakes, and wasn't a Canadian.....Then I say he'd make a good back up to Trump.

In a video age, appearances make a difference, like it or not. Ted looks a bit like "Woody" from "Toy Story".

It's unfortunate but nevertheless a reality. Cruz has no crossover appeal to blacks or ‘hispanics’. He would have to win a good percentage of white women voters and that ain't going to happen.
