This speaks volumes.

Cruz was the Iowa firewall to get the Santorum/Huckabee vote and STOP TRUMP.

Now they can toss Cruz under the bus to back their scamnesty boy Rubio.

Fox is already pushing Rubio as “John F. Kennedy to Hillary’s Richard Nixon.”

Cruz stood up when others fled.

I remember the filibuster, when everyone called him a fool and that he was doing tremendous harm to the country. He had few supporters in Congress.

McConnell lied to his face and he had the courage to call him out on it.

I could go on, but whatever anyone thinks he is a stand up guy.

Yes! Ted said to give God the glory! So we should thank the Lord that Ted was able to prevail tonight! On to New Hampshire which has a major drug problem and needs Ted Cruz to call them to repentance. Ted's preaching the Gospel should be able to convince those Yankees to mend their evil ways and forget about Donald Trump!!!.

Happy for you. However, Ted can’t compete in the general.

Cruz and Rubio both did better than expected. Trump did worse than his nationals polls would have indicated, which is what I’ve expected all along. Trump’s bragging, insulting, and demeaning of others probably did not workout well in Iowa.

Thank you for this post. Ted did great! And even Trump was classy, afterwards.

There are several good candidates for the Republican ticket. I’d like to see them stay focused on the enemy in the white house. Congratulations Senator Cruz.

Not criticizing any Cruz supports nor resident Trump loathers.

NRO, David French explains:

but had Trump won, we would even now be shuddering not just for
the future of the conservative movement but for the future of a nation
bounded and governed by constitutional principles.

A GOP-e minion concerned about the Country and conservative principles. The likes of French have never been so fired up. Reminds me of McCain and P. King bemoaning the rise of Cruz.

Tired of these "conservative" clowns.

The voice of conservatism in digital news media does not yet exist.

Excellent work as always. People will be surprised a week from today too. I wonder if donnie has thought about ground games yet? Or maybe not alienating any more voters with his bragging and trashing.
Cruz beats donnie by 8 points head to head in NH. Can’t remember what the total was that would never vote for him in NH but seems it was at least double that of Cruz.
Cruz was true to his beliefs - ethanol(thank goodness he has core beliefs) and won Iowa - nobody thought he could do that. NH is going to be a yuge game changer, won’t be pretty for the trumpees.

Cruz is a fine example of ethics and high standards over crass reality tv showmanship.

Something about his victory speech...

I didn't hear a single "I" or "me" or "mine".

Everything was a product of "we, the people", an expression of our rights, which were gifts from God.

Yes! CRUZ WON!!

Trump had the YUUUUGE rallies, and polls that said he was going to beat Cruz by 10pnts or something like that. Who cares!

Well, anyone can look at my posting history and see that from the start of this I said that if it was entirely up to me alone I would choose Cruz to be president.

My only problem with Cruz is I have doubts he can beat Hillary in the general.

This is because it will take someone with brass balls to call Hillary out as a cheat and liar.

If Cruz can muster the gumption to do this, and get the funds to get it on the air, I’m all in with him!

I do so hope he was not involved in a reported scheme whereby people were told Carson had left the contest and that their votes would be best placed in the Cruz column.... I don’t think he would do this...

If it comes down to it I hope Trump would run as Cruz’s VP so they could use his vast fortune to fund the campaign... this would be an ultimate test of Trump’s love of country!

Here’s hoping for the best....
