The original tweet from the CNN guy said that CArson would not be campaigning for the next primaries.

The lie was put out there by CNN around 5pm when Rubio’s people started saying they would do better than anybody expected. I believe it was a very calculated lie for that express purpose. If you look at my posts today, at http://www.freerepublic.com/tag/by:butterdezillion/index?brevity=full;tab=comments you’ll see some reasons why I think that.

Well, not exactly:

It merely says rather than heading [directly] to NH or SC [as others were doing], Carson would be heading home for a couple days of R&R.

But, King took "won't go to" to mean "skipping":

Then, King believed he'd stumbled upon an opportunity. So, he seized it (then, the Cruz campaign sent the emails to their supporters):

Personally, I don't see anything nefarious in Moore's tweet. It appears to me, as dungeonmaster put it, there was a "heat of battle" aspect to this for King. I have to think he ran with it as soon as he saw it, only an hour and a half before caucus time.

Just now, Rush is starting to talk about it, beginning with Carson's accusations against the Cruz campaign.
