Getting to the convention will not be like kicking over a set of dominoes. It is hard to imagine Cruz duplicating the effort he put into Iowa.
Take, for example, Super Tuesday will involve 24 states. Unlike Iowa, which only determined the proportional delegates to the 99 county conventions, Super Tuesday will determine delegates to the national convention. How will Cruz handle those 24 states?

Agreed - and I have not yet had one Cruz supporter reply to me with ideas on how Cruz sustains this sort of effort, expenditure, etc.

This isn’t meant to be anti-Cruz, either. Given Rubio’s showing in Iowa, Ted may struggle for 2nd in more liberal New Hampshire, blunting his present momentum. Cruz doesn’t want this to be like one of those games where the home team comes out hot in the 1st quarter, then can’t match the other team’s strength.

This is more so once we have a nominee. I figure the Dems will put up at a minimum, a ground game equal to that of Cruz, in the general. They also have the advantage of “the 48%” dependent voters. (More now?) Can a Cruz type personality and message win in a situation where the playing field is basically what it’s been in recent years?
