Why is Cruz ahead if entrance polls have him 5% behind.
Small precincts. The larger ones come later.
Entrance polls are just that: polls.
But the numbers you are seeing are just 2 and 3%. Very small results from very few precincts. Welcome to watching results come in. It will change by the minute.
Larger precincts haven’t finished reporting yet. Sort of like that little place in NH that is always the first to vote?
My guess is that the smaller and more rural precincts are reporting first. This would tend to favor Cruz. The fact that it is this close in those areas does not bode well for Cruz. Look for Trump to roll up a lot of votes in the more urban areas - though this is Iowa, so we need to put "urban areas" in perspective.
??Why is Cruz ahead if entrance polls have him 5% behind.
Because Bill Gate’s Microsoft’s app is handling it?
Because 3% reporting? Don't sh!t yourself, please...
CSPAN 4% of Precincts reporting 7.53PM CST

Reminder: Entrance polls in 2012 showed Rick Santorum in third place. He ended up winning by 8 votes.”
