Cruz, on the other hand has been in front since November, and the MSM were doing all they could to cover it up.

I don't think we were conservative then, and I think we are more depraved and obviously in greater peril now, for all the reasons you cite.
2.) Within the zeitgeist that clearly defines our post-Christian culture (and I don't know how any could deny that to be true), do you honestly believe that a man such as Senator Ted Cruz has even a fair chance at winning the presidency (assuming he wins the GOP nomination)?
I struggle with the idea that we are "post-Christian" because I'm not sure we were ever "Christian". We are certainly more culturally depraved and less virtuous than we were. Regarding Cruz's election chance, I don't think in those terms. "Chance" is a subjective and speculative quantification of our uncertainty. I am certain that God is orchestrating every note of history.
I completely agree that we that we get the leaders we deserve and that we may very well find ourselves under the boot heel of direct communism.

Its all been blown open, and the media are no longer shilling for Trump, they have shifted to GOPe Rubio.
Trump should have jumped back to Dem before the caucus, as he had originally planned to do.
His bridges are gone, and so are his trail markers.
He is going to be seething in anger for a while.
Anyway, the “front runner Trump” myth has been farted away.
Good riddance; let logic prevail, and recognize the rhetorical victory for Rush Limbaugh. When you run with a conservative, you win.

Really disappointed in Palin.
I do not know her reasoning for endorsing him but from my perspective it was/is a ill advised move. She had a reason.
Still looking for the reason Trump is running. Think he does love America, but have my doubts that IS THE reason. Trump is/was and always has been “What is in it for Trump!”
Of course I am a cynic and a whole lot ‘paranoid’! LOL!!

I’m sure that you noticed that all through the count, Rubio gained on Trump, but not on Cruz. He was taking Trump’s votes, not Cruz’ votes.

Ya know, I want Trump to win, but I feel like posting something to encourage Freepers and Co. that no man will save America, not Trump, nor Cruz, nor anyone else - only the hand of God can move in such a way as to bring true recovery to America, and He hasn’t gone away.
We should do our best to get the best in there, but we should not be trusting our efforts nor any man’s efforts, but the Providence and Love of God to bring restoration and victory to America.

IMO, the only “true conservatives” (faith-filled limited government freedom-lovers AND defenders) coming down the pike the last 100 years was Reagan and Coolidge and Coolidge only became President because Harding died.
True faith-filled lovers of America and freedom are hard to come by these days. May God grace bring us more in these last days.
