Even Melania campaigns! Donald Trump uses his family (and invites children aboard his private jet) in last-minute push in Iowa.
Donald Trump pulled out all the stops in a last-minute push to persuade his supporters to turn out to vote for him in the country's first presidential caucus in Iowa. The GOP frontrunner recruited the help of his rarely seen wife Melania as well as daughter Ivanka and sons Donald Jr and Eric - along with their wives - to join him on the campaign trail this weekend.
And of course, the billionaire was not afraid to flaunt his wealth to impress voters - as well as children. At a rally in Dubuque's tiny airport on Saturday, he showed off his private Boeing 757 jet - which has 'TRUMP' in giant letters emblazoned on its side - with a dramatic fly by. Later, a group of youngsters were pictured piling on board the private jet after Trump reportedly invited them to 'run through the plane'. A video of the children preparing to board the jet was posted on Trump's Instagram page, captioned: 'ALL kids at today's #Dubuque #Iowa rally received a tour of #DonaldTrump's #Boeing #757! #Welcome #TrumpTrain!'
This morning, the real estate mogul's sons have appeared on Good Morning America to discuss their father's chances. They've both been busy attending rallies and events all over the state with their wives. Meanwhile, Melania and Ivanka were brought up on stage to add a touch of glamor to the proceedings at an event in Council Bluffs on Sunday. She spoke briefly and sung her husband's praises, insisting he will be 'unbelievable' and 'the best dealmaker'.
