SAN FRANCISCO — San Francisco's public schools leaders are considering distributing condoms at middle schools.
The San Francisco Examiner reports (http://bit.ly/1QC51ID) Monday that the policy change was introduced as part of an overall effort by the San Francisco Unified School District to further prevent sexually transmitted diseases and pregnancy among minors. A board committee is scheduled to discuss the proposal Monday.
The board first adopted a policy to distribute condoms at high schools in 1991, and in 1996 the board amended the district's condom distribution program to allow parents to opt out or exclude their child from the program, the newspaper reported.
In addition to supplying condoms at middle schools, the superintendent's recommended changes include eliminating the exemption option for parents. Parents would still be notified annually about the program.

You know whats next...you know how underage girls can get and abortion without the parents knowledge or consent?...or both boys and girls can get birth control with out the parents knowledge or consent... well next will be any sex act... the end of the idea of statutory rape... ..no matter what your age( little kids) you can consent with anyone no matter what their age(old predator) .....
and also kids should be able to get a sex change on demand..and if a parents does not consent..they take your child...under the same theory of your abusing your child by not providing proper medical treatment
Prevent pregnancy? I thought that heterosexual behavior was illegal in San Francisco.
Can’t see a problem with it - the schools answer to the governments that fund them, just as Air Traffic Controllers answer to the FAA, not to airplane passengers.
Besides, believing as they do that condoms are effective against HIV and AIDS, San Fransicko gummint skewel teachers “reason” that teachers need “protection” when making rear entrances to particularly popular youngsters. Can’t enjoy that fat pension for training the next generation of perverts and leftists if you die before collecting!
The APPOINTED school board of New Haven, Connecticut, began distributing condoms to all gummint skewel students in fifth grade and older a generation ago.
Great! The kiddies be humping behind the bleachers.
