22 Clinton Emails Deemed Too Classified to Be Made Public
The New York Times ^ | January 29, 2016 | Steven Lee Meyers

Posted on 02/01/2016 6:25:14 AM PST by ManHunter

The State Department on Friday said for the first time that “top secret” material had been sent through Hillary Clinton’s private computer server, and that it would not make public 22 of her emails because they contained highly classified information.

The department announced that 18 emails exchanged between Mrs. Clinton and President Obama would also be withheld, citing the longstanding practice of preserving presidential communications for future release. The department’s spokesman, John Kirby, said that exchanges did not involve classified information.

So, among the tens of thousands of emails on Hillary's private server were AT LEAST 18 between her and Mullah Obama. But, as I seem to recall, Obama said in an interview last year that the first he had known of Hillary's private email server was when it became public. Could it be that Obama, too, was lying...?

WHAT could still be classified about them, if Russia, China, Iran, ISIS, and everybody else in the world has already hacked and read them?

That is my thought also; Emails from Obama or the white hut.

Her defense is analogous to me standing over body with a bullet hole in it and a matching gun in my hand saying “I did not stab that man”. Then the media focuses on there being no solid evidence that I stabbed the man. Therefore my political enemies are making a big deal of nothing because I didn’t stab him.

I still want to know about the thousands that were deleted. The FBI has had the server for months, how long does it take to do the forensics on it, and what was the last thing we heard on the backups, that they were all deleted from all sources, both companies that contracted to maintain it? Did I miss something along the way? Where were the messages deleted, were they indeed all about grandbabies and bridal showers?

At this point I just don't see how she will not be charged.
I know the Clintons always get away with everything, but the evidence is just overwhelming.

That’s an excellent question. Unless they were overwritten after deletion, those emails would have remained on the servers. If they were overwritten, the only way to recover them would be to search the servers of other recipients to find copies.

The only "sense" you need is to look away from the "the law," other than "the law of the jungle." She skates.

From everything that I hear - and I used to work for the Bureau - the agents working these investigations are just waiting to see what DOJ and the White House are going to do. You can count on some major leaks if the Bureau recommends indictments and DOJ takes no action.

What has Comey and the Bureau’s leadership absolutely incensed right now is the comments coming from Josh Earnest and the White House regarding the direction of the investigation. If I may paraphrase; “...we’ve been told that the secretary isn’t really a target” and “...we’ve been told that the investigation is not indicating a possible indictment of the secretary.” Now that Obama has shown up as a recipient of some of those emails - after he denied knowledge of Hillary’s private server - the Bureau would have a little more leverage...

Education for the security challenged:

JWICS devices are for top secret and above (SAP). There are only about 150 JWICS locations in the world. There is no connection to the outside electronic world (air gap)

SIPRnet devices are for secret, confidential and FOUO. No top secret is tranmitted through SIPRnet, never mind SAP. There is no connection to the outside electronic world (air gap)

To copy SAP into a nonsecure device requires several conscious steps of deliberate espionage and slight of hand to get by the levels of security.

ESPIONAGE

The fix was “in” this weekend... She is going to blame Cheryl Mills, Huma Weiner, and Jake (?) Sullivan. She laid the ground work in the Sunday interviews that she never got anything “marked” as “classified”. Easy to see that she is saying that the three stooges (Mills, Weiner, Sullivan) were copying classified messages from the secure system (SIPRNET) and sending the “unmarked”, but still classified by law, text to HRC. They will now do a Web Hubble and go to jail for a while in a country-club facility. If any of them are thinking about cooperating with the investigation they will find a picture of Vince Foster under their pillow when they get ready for bed. It's the “Arkansas Way”.

Where would the option of appointing a special counsel come in? I don't know much about them, really can only think of Ken Starr... but I heard pundits on a few news shows today saying a way around the grand jury would be to go directly to appointing a special counsel which would take years.... is that even possible? I have to learn about this as a tactic, I only know what I heard and don't really understand what kind of a chess move that would be??

So to copy this doesn't someone have to to have top security clearance?

How many people have it and wouldn't the system record the breach, time, place, possibly who?

According to the NY Slimes, 18 of the emails were between Hillary and Obama (despite Obama’s original denial that he knew about the private email server). The article did not say if any of those contained classified information, but that the State Dept. will not make them public “to protect private presidential communications.”
