What are the odds that vegas is giving?

Can you bet on elections?

Is that legal?

Betting Odds - Republican Nominee (nationally, not Iowa)

(1) Trump - 49.8%
(2) Rubio - 31.3%
(3) Cruz - 9.2%
(4) Bush - 7.9%

These are the adjusted odds from Betfair.com, updated every 5 minutes.

They are based in the UK, and they use a professional betting format. They also have the highest total revenue on worldwide political betting.

BUT - per USA laws, they accept no bets that originate or are paid for from the USA. I think it's likely that many sophisticated USA-based political bettors do not use Betfair.com because they fear the legal risks.
