So you’re against a slight modification of the rules to go from contact to flag football?

Another girly-man speaks out.
Rush predicted this crap several years ago.

The socialism supported by the Guardian has harmed, in fact killed far, far more people than football ever could.
To: MinorityRepublican
Agree, it should be replaced with touch football played by teams of topless females.

Another thread designed to get the he-men beating their chests. Meanwhile, they are watching the NFL die before their very eyes.

The new Will Smith movie, Concussion, is based on one of the many books detailing the mountain of scientific evidence proving that the sport shortens lives.Never mind, now I'm convinced. </sarc>

In its current state, professional football is immoral and we as a society should end its existence.
Who's "we"? Isn't the Guardian a British paper? If Americans can live with British guys in shorts running around aimlessly kicking and head-butting a ball for hour after boring hour, then the British can leave us to our entertainment.

This movement is not good for your brains.

It is and will become part of the Greater Caliphate. The author of this (fill in the blank) will become a sex toy of the new rulers.

because the damage happens inside the players' skulls, when the brain sloshes around and smashes against its bone casing. Which also happens when you hit the soccer ball with your head.
So in its current state, soccer is immoral and we as a society should end its existence.
:thud:
Oops!
Did you fall out of your saddle?
BTW football is looking at the problem with an eye to protecting it's players, soccer has yet to admit that there is even a problem.

Doesn’t the Guardian have something in the UK it can report on? Apparently not, and therefore it pokes its’ nose into American society.
Not that I am surprised. It’s the Guardian after all.

In rugby, you do not use your head to tackle.
