Hot off the Press….the REAL reason Trump backed out of the FOX debate. And this humble Blogger has video of Bernie Sanders singing and dancing, I ought to charge.

Presumably answered my own question. However, if you refuse to answer a direct question with a direct answer, I'll be on my way. I don't have time for games.

Trade Promotion Authority became a major topic in the Fall of 2015 and conservatives across the country reacted in disgust at the notion that we would grant Barack Obama exclusive powers over the trade agreement process. One of the people who was opposing conservatives on the issue was Ted Cruz, writing an Op-Ed alongside future house speaker Paul Ryan in support of the agreement. After seeing the outcry among grassroots conservatives across the country, however, Cruz quickly reversed his position, siding with conservatives against the President’s power. This flip flop is probably the most blatant on the list both in its clarity and appearance of political calculation, and it should cause all conservatives to question Cruz’s view of executive power.

I am a believer in Free Trade, even if it means Obama gets one right.

No Could it be that Ted Cruz changed his mind when the resolution to fund the Export-Import bank was bundled into this legislation?

The Fed. G’ment should not be subsidizing Boeing or GE through the Ex-Im Bank, Just like they should not subsidize mega Arbitrariness with Ethanol subsidies.

If they were green card holders awaiting citizen ship...then they would not be citizens and born in the U.S...then they would be citizens.

No, they were both Cubans.

of course their child (Rubio) is a NBC an anchor baby.

Of course even that's debatable, as the 14th amendment was not intended to allow illegal aliens and tourists to create US citizens at birth, but rather to give citizenship to freed slaves and their children.

We really don t disagree however

No, they were both Cubans.

A status as Cuban refuge may have special status and so Rubio might not be an anchor baby.

The question becomes what bite of the apple did Rubio have at birth? First bite or second bite?

That is the dilemma! Do we support our Catholic faith or our allegiance to America?
For now, I am on the side of my Country v. Pope Francis.

Only if you also are an American citizen.

NBC is a pedigree.

A puppy born to a Poodle mother and a Poodle father is a Poodle.

A puppy born to a Poodle mother and a Labrador father is a canine, but not a Poodle.

While Ted MAY be a US citizen (and a Canadian one too.) He is NOT a NBC. Being a NBC is the Constitutional Standard for President NOT merely citizenship passed on only by one of two parents. Ted fails the pedigree test.......

The first step of this process is to begin questioning science. What if everything they are telling us is wrong and is all agenda driven? What if what we know about where we came from and where we are going is false and we need to actually question the results and retest to see if they are valid. We need new scientists who are not afraid to worship God and admire his creation. We need people skeptical of every corner of science and if they hold up to testing then they have credibility, but if they do not they need to be discarded and then focus on theories which do hold up.

brilliant as usual.

Maybe but I see it more like obama eight years ago except this time the transformation will not be val/jar communism but hard core Donald Trump capitalism. Just what the doctor ordered.

Not to mention the fact that the evidence clearly shows Cruz is more electable than Trump. He runs better in head-to-head contests against Des, and his favorability/unfavorability is much better than Trump's. Hank

That's hardly a hard and fast conclusion. As more and more people/voters see and hear from Trump they are Converted--become supporters. I don't expect that phenomenon to stop.

Trump will have to do a lot better job selling himself to me than the vast majority of his supporters on this board have done. -- That's a fact, not just you either, and not just the "Trump promotors" here. He has an uphill climb, and the distrust factor is substantial - nevermind the stated policy positions. Ultimately, it's his problem to resolve. People are not apt to be persuaded by pundits or chatroom activity.

Probably not as tough a climb as one would think. American voters are sick of supporting people for both sides of the equation who later on let them down after numerous promises to the contrary. Trump offers a fresh view os things. Many are ready for just such a change.
