Some actually speculate that Erdogan is the anti-Christ.

He seems a likely candidate to me....

The trigger for World War I was the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, heir to the throne of Austria-Hungary, by Yugoslav nationalist Gavrilo Princip in Sarajevo. Could another Turkish shoot down of a Russian fighter result in a consequence that would be the trigger point for something bigger?

He’s an Islamist. So he may relish the chance of having non-Islamic nations fight on his behalf. As in NATO vs. Russia.

Drop Tsar Bomba on Ankara, lest it metastasize! That would be nuclear medicine at its best!

Yikes! ISIS is sending out convoys of oil into Turkey. ISIS uses the oil money for their Caliphate. Russia knows that if they bomb ISIS convoys going into Turkey, they put a big hit on their operating funds. If NATO joins Turkey against Russia, I don’t see Russia backing down. This will be big.

Why wouldn’t you want Russia to follow ISIS oil convoys into Turkish territory to bomb them? Which side are you on?

I don’t believe Russian bombers flying into Turkey have anything to do with following supposed ISIS oil convoys. It is just Putin’s arrogance and brinkmanship that he does not care about the borders. He keeps flying into them so that Russian warplanes flying over the borders of sovereign nations would become the new normal.

I know about that misrepresentation. Greece has territorial complains against Turkey over some uninhibited islands that no other country recognizes. Every time Turkish planes fly over these islands Greece records it as an airspace violation.

This misrepresentation is being pushed by Russian propaganda media.

There is a same kind of thing with another uninhabited island between Denmark (Greenland) and Canada. Every once in a while one of these countries goes there and replaces others flag with their own. Canadians leave a gift of Canadian whiskey for Danes and they leave a gift of Danish vodka for Canadians. You might as well count these as invasions.

These Russian airspace violations have started again because the Syria peace talks are about to start and the KGB dirtbag knows Turkey is less likely to respond due to that.
