Had a machine for 2 weeks but they had it programmed for 9 hours. Thats straight. What they call exchanges, 4 of them. fluid in and it sits in me a few hours, then drain and fluid right back in. After 2 weeks i told them several choice words about their 9 hours and went back to manual. Still 4 but i’m only ‘hooked up’ 40 minutes at a time so about two and a half hours. That uses an IV pole. Finally, i have 2-3 years i’m told before i get a transplant. I have to watch my potassium intact which means way less sauce on my pasta!
