I think the die-hard Trumpers or Cruzers who would rather the nation fall on its collective sword than vote for the "undesirable" is what will determine this election's outcome.

From threads here it’s mostly the Cruz supporters who say they would never vote for Trump. Aside from a few who are convinced Cruz is ineligible, most Trump supporters would vote for Cruz. Before Trump entered I was going to go with either Cruz or Walker. I’ve got to say I like Cruz less as the campaign goes on, but I would vote for him. But I think the issue of Ted’s Canadianess would be a huge legal distraction, and there’s no guarantee that he would be eligible in the end. I think Cruz’ response of pretending it’s “settled” and not an issue is disingenuous. I also don’t see Cruz being able to attract voters outside of conservative Republican circles, so I don’t think he can ever win the general election. But I would vote for him over Hillary in a second.
