If Trump were to con his way to the Oval Office, I'm sure he wouldn't want Cruz in the Senate blocking his attempts at passing socialized medicine and forced increase in Ethanol levels and subsidies.

Trump would rather deal with McConnel and Schumer.

That's why Trump is trying to destroy Cruz.

What dem ever promised to make really, really great deals when running for office? And yet Trump is promising to makes deals with them as well as those on the GOP side who betrayed the election of 2014?
That alone should send up red flags.
