American patriots: “Excellent.”

Trump followers: “What a fat stupid idiot.”

Can a former natural-born Canadian citizen be President of the United States of America? It is the original intent of the Constitution that a person who was for over 40 years a natural-born citizen of another country to be President? It it even remotely possible that the founders added “natural born” to the Presidential citizenship requirement for no reason?

Do you know what the definition of ‘natural born’ is?

John Hawkins endorses Cruz.

Maybe John’s hoping he won’t receive one of those Cruz “Voter Shaming” mailers that are making the rounds in Iowa now.

Too little too late Johnny boy, Cruz is going down on Monday night.

“Do you know what the definition of ‘natural born’ is?”

I can supply that definition. According to the definition of the writers of the Constitution, provided in the Naturalization Act of 1790, natural born citizen means a person born of citizen parents.

Opportunities like this don't come along very often and if conservatives let this one pass, we may never again have a chance to put a conservative champion like Cruz in the White House.""""....

Exactly the kind of person FR & the masses have been crying for all these past 7 years, we have a Conservative Champion and FR wants to reject him.....hard to understand that.

TED CRUZ 2016......

Fascinating. John Hawkins uses his entire column explaining why he likes Cruz.
I did not see one sentence tell us what a asshat Trump is.
How novel.

No, your response is. Nowhere does it say Cruz is another Reagan.

It says, “Like Reagan, Ted Cruz is not popular with the establishment wing of the Republican Party.”

That statement is true.

The only other mention says, “Ted Cruz is the first grassroots-friendly conservative to be within striking distance of becoming the GOP nominee since Reagan.”

That statement is arguably true.

Your comments, however, are not.

“Conservatives have been hoping that “another Reagan” will come along for decades and we finally have one: Ted Cruz.”

I rest my case.

Can a former natural-born Canadian citizen

Was Cruz required to apply for US citizenship? Is he formally listed as 'naturalized'? The citizenship issue is totally bogus.

“Liberal Democrats fear Ted Cruz because they know he’s a strong, principled conservative that can’t be browbeaten, pushed around or bought off.”

This is a rare case where I agree with liberal Democrats. Ted Cruz is a principled conservative that can’t be browbeaten, pushed around or bought off.
