Rush pointed out that Trump had endured six debates and conformed to the rules each time. To Rush, that seemed like a vindication of some kind.
I think Rush’s point diffuses the ‘spoiled brat’ line.
This is a defining moment for Sowell that could very well alter his career.
It was not a debate. It was a cheap ‘gotcha-interview’.
Maybe he was unaware of this. He should read this post, verify it, and publicly apologize to Trump ....

Quite possibly, Noor will question Trump’s plan to temporarily close U.S. immigration to Muslims. Noor states she uses her voice to combat what she perceives as negative stereotypes of Muslims, a phenomena she states is more prevalent.

Except that’s not true....Trump complained about the length of the debates and a bit of the format....and got it changed.(Carson did his Me2 routine on this)
Trump has some Rush-like characteristics. Such as being unable/unwilling to speak from a prepared text. And confidence that he can confront Big Journalism and prosper.
Essentially Trump dismissed the debate; he was right to do so in that it was a setup targeting HIM. When Trump bowed out, that merely shifted the target to Cruz; Cruz might best have recognized - and articulated - that fact, and bowed out because HE no longer had anything to gain by being there.
A process which could have delegitimated the so-called debate format itself.
