Truth, Justice, and the American Way.
The article includes video stills from the jewelry store which clearly shows it is not her, and an additional still which puts her in another store at the time of the robbery.
The night of the arrest the police had her examined at the local hospital psych ward because she protested her innocence.
It’s called hitting the lottery at the expense of the taxpayers due to police stupidity.
Nassau? Good luck calling for help when you need it.
That bad huh?
Cops and prosecutors are worse than the criminals.
I assume there wasn’t a dog in the house.
I imagine there are some who would take umbrance with me but I would never live in Nassau.
I’m not saying the cops are bad, I’m saying when you sue the cops they might not be in such a rush to come out there though.
That may make very good sense. If response time is lacking, that could be a vital bit of information where the safety of your family is concerned.
“What makes this case so disturbing is that prior to her arrest, an elementary school child would have easily concluded that Angela Bianco was clearly innocent,” said her lawyer Anthony Grandinette. “Had police just taken a moment to listen rather than ridicule, these events would have never transpired.”
When the lawyer is able to make statements like that, you’d better settle quick.
That’s true.
Cops are lazy and dishonest.
I hope she CLEANS THEM OUT.
That is so disgusting. Those pukes should lose their jobs and be liable for 100% of any judgment....I don’t care if they’re in their 20’s - make them pay for the rest of their lives. Some lessons must be hard learned!! With that kind of intelligence, how did they ever get their law enforcement jobs in the first place?
Sue for the big bucks and move to a different state ....provided you value your life!
Given what was done to her, I’d be suing too. With a top notch lawyer.
Perhaps instead, they ought not to be in such a hurry to do world-class sh1t detective work.
When the lawyer is able to make statements like that, and not be lying,....they’re in heap big trouble.

Nassau County, the county police department, Nassau police Det. Gennaro DeStefano, Nassau police Lt. Vincent Boden and 10 unidentified police department employees are named in the suit.
According to the suit, Det. DeStefano and Lt. Boden, along with other officers at the Third Precinct, mistreated Bianco and violated laws pertaining to holding facilities and prisoner safety proscribed by the Nassau County Police Department and the New York State Department of Corrections.
For example, they mocked Bianco, raising their voices and screaming out, I didnt do it, I didnt do it, Im innocent according to the suit. Bianco, who had surgery in her armpit as part of treatment for breast cancer, told officers the position in which theyâd handcuffed her caused her immense pain, the suit states.
But police ignored her complaints, the suit alleges. They also questioned her after she had unequivocally invoked her right to counsel, according to court papers. That same day she was arrested, Bianco was involuntarily taken to Nassau University Medical Center for a psychiatric evaluation, according to the lawsuit.
At the hospital, Bianco explained to the medical personnel that she was not crazy, but rather the police were arresting her for something she did not do and that they refused to listen to her, the lawsuit alleges.
Biancos suit seeks a jury trial and unspecified damages, claiming the false allegations damaged her career as a mergers and acquisitions investment banker.
