Not to pry, but Levin is currently without spouse? Figured he was married.
It is a mystery.
I've listened as long or longer than anybody, since the days he sometimes appeared on Rush as F. Lee. Levin, and then later when he was just a local host up here on WABC and of course later when he went national.
He surely was married as he had adorable young children who he would put on the air from time to time, very sweet thing. Now they are off to school from what he has said. Next thing we hear he is presumably getting married since he has a fiance.
It is curious to me because he has shared so much over the years, especially the many dog tales. I pray that there was no tragedy. That's just too hard to even think about.
I got the same impression. I wish him well with regards to personal matters.
Trump will praise you one minute the next call you a bimbo and then continue to tweet nasty things about you. Now if you’re Pelosi, Reid, Schumer then Trump will praise them as nice people.
Yep Trump is showing us who the enemy is! Why its that “nasty” Cruz!!!

For the record, I don't slam Cruz. I see him as an ally, and much of Fox News as the enemy.
Politics is rough and tumble, but you might be surprised that I agree with you here that this label of "nasty" is ugly. Thing is, I have no way of knowing if it is true or false, really, I mean that. I've lived long enough to see every single person I respected chopped down to size because of one thing or another.
I'm not throwing Cruz under the bus until I am firmly convinced that he is a schmuck. He is no Ryan or McConnell or Boner. I'm staying open minded ( although the Glenn Beck thing is suspicious ). I suggest you also keep an open mind because we have no way of knowing who is correct. I immediately sympathized with Mark Levin on the personal attacks. I also remember how it was 30-40 years ago when their were no Cruz or Lee or Sessions ( we did have the great Jesse Helms though ) and don't want to chase away these guys.
The enemy is the anti-American anti-Constitutional cabal of globalists. The only way I toss Cruz under the bus is if he is proven to be a member.
There is one bright side to this ugly part of the campaign with respect to Trump though. You have to admit that he is a closer, and that is something we are sorely lacking and is why we are in the predicament we find ourselves in. The enemy playbook is to pressure us until we capitulate, and in Trump they have their absolute worst nightmare, someone who never surrenders. They hated MacArthur and Patton and Grant, because they were fearless and decisive. I believe we need to decide if we want pretty or do we want to win.
Since we’re being honest here. No snark or meaness.
I liked Trump alot at first If only he would’ve stayed on message, stayed away from the birther mess, not praised Pelosi and Schumer and Reid and spoken up his govt reform ideas including lowering taxes cutting govt programs!! Getting off message and the silly tweets has made me skeptical of his claims he’ll be any different than Bush the elder or Bush the younger or even Boehner.

Okay, I see several clear disagreements here.
"birther mess" ... Well first of all, Do you think there was any possibility on Earth that this could be kept secret? This would have been the mother of all October surprises plastered on TV 24/7 by (D)ummycrats until Cruz was destroyed worse than Barry Goldwater. Did you really think that he could ignore it? Remember Bush43 trying to hide his DUI arrest? I couldn't care less personally but it almost sunk him. Cardinal rule: it is never the crime, it is the coverup! Trump did him a huge favor by bringing this out whether you admit it or not.
Secondly, on the merits Cruz is far more questionable than Barry ever was ( assuming he was born in Hawaii ). No true Constitutionalist is going to support him, and no leftist ever was going to, so that leaves a pretty narrow path to victory. Once Levin and other revisionists started ridiculing us it had to get ugly. This is where I and others brook no quarter for either the "birther" smear or Constitutional revisionism. The proposition that NBC is born in USA to two citizen parents was no conjured up out of thin air. People that believe it are not crazy. But I remain unclear on what Cruzers are whining about? The Supreme Court has left it up We The People to decide for ourselves, so do it. Present circumstances allow you to vote for someone born in a foreign country for President Of The United States! Who's stopping you?
"praised Pelosi and Schumer and Reid" ... Okay, that was Trump on MSNBC. I have several questions posed for Mark upthread but perhaps you will now answer in his place. What should Trump be saying to MSNBC and their lefty viewers? Should he go on there and badmouth their heroes? Should he try to get their (D) and (L) votes? Should he even be there in the first place?
Trump appears to be doing a unique hybrid of Nixon's apocryphal theory: Run to the base in the primary, run to the center in the general. He is simultaneously going to both ideological camps and speaking to their interests. It is beyond crazy ( as Mark sounds ) to believe that Trump telling liberals that he will get along and make deals with their heroes as some kind of admission he will be a capitulating surrender monkey! To believe this preposterous idea means that all a candidate ever has to do is to say what *you* want to hear to be accepted. It literally invites them to lie to you.
Never mind the fact that Trump is the master negotiator. This looks like classic political triangulation while Spider-Trump weaves his web. The last thing I would worry about is that any of these lightweights will roll Trump. So, rather than fretting he will make deals with Schumer and Pelosi, maybe you should feel sorry ... for them!
"skeptical of his claims he'll be any different than Bush" ... Well you could be right, I don't think so, but certainly anything could happen. I've said that he could morph into anything. I trust his word that his focus will be only on what is in America's best interest. A bad deal for America will be renegotiated or terminated. That is what is meant by "dealing". That is what he does in real life. That is the unique thing that separates him from everyone else. America needs a strong dose of Nationalism and needs someone to deliver a swift kick to the butt of Globalism. This is really nothing to worry about in my opinion.
(P.S. I highlighted several questions back to you in red because I think these get straight to the root of these concerns )
1 the birther mess makes Trump look foolish especially since it appears to me he was doing the Clintons dirty work attacking obama with the same birther mess. And that mess went no where. Let the Dems go all birther. Let them be made fun of as hypocrits for bringing the non-issue up. Meanwhile Trump stays focused on the issues that matter.
Thats my stance on that.
2 Reading the Constitution and the statute on children born aboard to a US parent makes it clear that Cruz is a US citizen, he never had a Canadian passport thus is eligible to run for US president.
Notice in the eligiblity for US president does not have a period after nbc? So read the entire sentence of it. Cruz meets the requirements. Any questions on it are just liberals interpeting that section wrongly. As usual.
3 if you’re a Conservative you don’t talk up making deals with pelosi, reid or schumer or say they’re nicer than Conservative politicians trying to stop them. The Dems don’t talk that way on any network tv and neither should any Conservative. Trump should’ve advanced his policies. Screw making deals and making nice to the Dems
4 given Trump’s liberal history I take his notions of what makes a good deal with concern
On the matter of Natural Born Citizenship, somehow you have missed many facts of this matter. See this recent comment I made in another thread with lots of details. I will specifically address a few things here that are stunningly incorrect. What I am posting here is not subjective opinion, it is undisputed fact ...
"Reading the Constitution and the statute on children born aboard to a US parent makes it clear that Cruz is a US citizen, he never had a Canadian passport thus is eligible to run for US president" ... This is Civics 101, the requirement for President is higher than mere citizen, it is natural born citizen. That means a person who is a mere citizen is qualified for any office *except* for President.
"Notice in the eligiblity for US president does not have a period after nbc?" ... What you are referring to is the grandfathering clause ( in red ):
No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution
Ironically Mark Levin stumbled over this very thing when he attempted to read this section on the air. The brown part is the NBC requirement, the red part is the alternate grandfather clause which is needed because without it, the office of the President would need to remain vacant until the first natural born citizens became 35 years old in 1823 or 1824. As the required 9 states ratified by June 21, 1788, in theory that day is when the first natural born citizen entered this world ( but note that some argue for March 4, 1789 which is the date that the first Congress of the new Constitutional government held its first session and the Articles of Confederation which were still in effect were then dissolved ).
"Any questions on it are just liberals interpeting that section wrongly. As usual" ... Now that you understand what the grandfathering clause is, and why it was needed you should see that there is no loophole for any modern citizen to exploit. And no person, even you or Mark Levin, nor even a liberal has a good reason for stumbling over it or re-interpreting it.
"if you're a Conservative you don't talk up making deals with pelosi, reid or schumer or say they're nicer than Conservative politicians trying to stop them" ... First, please answer the questions in red above! Second, If you believe that him merely talking up liberals at MSNBC is gospel truth that he will make deals like *all* the previous RINOs, then you are admitting that you believe words that candidates utter on the campaign trail. In theory, all he would have to say to you is what you need to hear and you are sold, right? These are campaign events, they say whatever is appropriate at the venue. Surely you don't believe Cruz talking about Ethanol or Eminent Domain. If so, point out the Presidential power to alter them.
I answered. You don’t have to agree with it. I’m not trying to change your mind. And you haven’t changed my mind either.
