Rush is golfing buddies with Trump and Rush absolutely loves Trump’s disdain for the news media. Folks mistake that for an endorsement.
I think if push came to shove, he’d endorse Cruz but there’s no point in being cornered into one until after the convention. Rush did go after Trump for his attacks on Cruz.
Mostly, Rush wants to comment, not endorse, and he’s doing just fine and selling his childrens books.

Let me tell you something. My mom died in January, 2007, before she was 103 in April. She was still sharp as a tack. Then, a few years later, her cousin died and she was 109. She was like my mom. I trust these senior citizens a lot more than the whippersnappers who think they have all the answers.

You can tell how Trump will return to liberalism and back-stab his cult. He has already quickly promised the ethanol pork to buy vote in Iowa and he quickly modified his tough immigration talk with a flip-flop to “EXPEDITE” amnesty.

I think some of the defense of think tank “Conservatism” is a bit over charged. It is conservative (IMHO) to defend God, family, country. And that covers a lot of territory. Leave the philosophical navel gazing to the unicornians.

I, too, am from Texas. I’m not sure if you are aware but we and will easily be soon a minority here in Texas.
Trump’s plan is a touchback plan go to Mexico declare yourself as an illegal, claim a job and dwelling place and supported by your own means and come back, except the criminals.
Cruz from what I now understand wants to deport them all. Not sure though.
The rest are amnesty for all now.
I live in Texas and probably many of my neighbors are illegal. My neighbor across the way is an amazing Mexican cowboy. He trains his son and daughter in all the characteristics, building pecan tree caracoles, riding, roping, raising chickens, cows, bulls and the works.
He’s actually hired as the head ranch hand on 2 local ranches.
I admit I believe illegals drive down wages and take American jobs but maybe some of them have something positive to contribute?
Plus complete universal deportation will decimate apartment owners, many small businesses and banks on the hook with loans.
