Note: The story says he had previously released his "hospital birth certificate" which apparently wasn't official. Trump resolved the matter with the release of the "official" certificate.
Maybe if he was joking about the father because of Cuba, Trump was referring to the mother birthing a kid in Canada.

Trump could very well turn out to be another Arnold. Even worse, if he wins, where will he find the time to run the country if he responds to every slight that comes his way. The man is way too thin skinned, maybe even more than the current guy in the WH.
