Straight out of the mommunists/nanniebloomers handbook. Just more proof that not all m.d. graduate at the top of the class. What a moron.

I would bet way more than 90 people are killed everyday by medical mistakes. Hey Doctor want to discuss this?

Write his name on the wall.

I will stay away from him

when I see a depressed patient, suggest that, if he/she owns a gun, perhaps a friend or family member should hold it until they feel better.

Here we go. If your family doctor thinks you are depressed and is a gun-grabber, be prepared for him to report you to the police.

There are 195,000 hospital deaths in the U.S. per year (http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/releases/11856.php) and 98,000 malpractice deaths a year in the U.S. (http://www.propublica.org/article/how-many-die-from-medical-mistakes-in-us-hospitals) a year, Doc. You are more dangerous than a gun. Get a clue.

Recitation of numbers without any context.

Compare to the numbers for drunk driving and other auto related accidents, Doc.

Hey Doc:

How many death are there per year as a result of surgical and medication errors? And how many do you think are hidden and therefore never make it into the statistics?

Are physicians a public health threat?

National physicians groups are run by totalitarian leftist thugs. Pediatricians especially.

Why limit yourself to guns, Doc?

Why not talk about the public health problems associated with freedom in general?

What do you call someone who graduates at the bottom of his class in medical school? “Doctor”.

If Obamacare continues, physicians will become government informants.

“Do you own guns and if so, how many? Refuse to answer and your attitude will be noted.”

People in need of mental health treatment will hesitate to go to psychiatrists who may place them on a government watchlist.

Enough busybodies in life to worry about, without this.

White folks giving up on Obamaland and shooting themselves.

Wrong target, IMHO.

There are roughly 32,000 gun deaths per year in the United States. Of those, around 60% are suicides. About 3% are accidental deaths (between 700-800 deaths). About 34% of deaths (just over 11,000 in both 2010 and 2011) make up the remainder of gun deaths and are classified as homicides.

Sometimes (all the time) the 32,000 and 11,000 figures are used interchangeably by gun control advocates. Clearly, the 32,000 figure is a far more dramatic number and it is often used for impact by anti-gun activists.

According to the FBI, almost four in ten homicides are classified as "unknown" while arguments are, predictably, the top cause of known homicides......So while Detroit logs some 350 homicides annually, there is no hard statistic to grasp the exact percentage that is gang-related or involving gang-members.... In New Orleans, between 35-55% of homicides are classified as gang-related. In Chicago, an estimated 80% of homicides are gang-related. And in Baltimore, the police commissioner states that 80% of homicides are drug-related

How many people die outside of a hospital or get admitted to a hospital due to drug interactions because the doctor did not get an Rx profile from the patient?

“when I see a depressed patient, suggest that, if he/she owns a gun, perhaps a friend or family member should hold it until they feel better.”

They should probably take away their ropes, knives, prescription drugs, and plastic bags. And stop them from being able to access roadways, high places or large bodies of water.
