A 22-year-old San Jose man was arraigned Thursday on charges he raped, beat and suffocated a 2-year-old boy earlier this month as the child's mother slept in another room.

Yeah, I’m sure he is a US citizen from San Jose........
They always cover up for the fraudulently documented foreigners by describing them like above instead of being honest about the fact that they are illegal aliens.
But we’ve “advanced” beyond capital punishment. We’re too sophisticated for that.
Are we so much better that we’d allow such a monster to live?
Imagine if conservative reporters moderated liberal debates and brought on this mom of this poor child to tell her story and confront the liberals about their stands on illegal aliens and the death penalty.
Therefore, he can do no wrong. Unless he is working, goes to church, and pays taxes. THOSE are intolerable!
But seriously.
It is the same thing every lion does when a pride is taken over by a new male: Kill the old male, eat the young cubs sired by the old male, wait for the females come back into heat, the new male rapes the now-compliant females. And the compliant females provide the meat (get the welfare checks and EIB money and food stamps and housing allowance and cell phones and school lunch money and ...) to the male.
Note: Both the male and female humans (er, animals) behaved this way in this story.

Back in 1980s I worked in an ER in Nashville. I saw a few horrors on children, but I also saw what happened to the perps on the news later. One a-hole (who actually admitted to what he did in the ER) was later unrecognizable after an hour in general pop. The girl died two weeks later from the beating she got in addition to the sexual violations. I am still bothered today by it all.
May well be illegal.
