No he’s not an Establishment favorite and the gays hate him because he dares champion the nuclear family.

I've read his bio on Wiki (not a friendly venue, thanks to swarming militant Leftists), and Rick Santorum is one of the most decent, family-centered politicians in public life today. He is more solid than an oak timber.

The Establishment hates him because they value their social connections and clubbiness so much, that they defend and protect deviants among them, just as once they protected the traitor and spy Alger Hiss. They are thoroughly rotten, and Rick Santorum is their antithesis, just as Slick Willie is Santorum's antithesis in every stinking, putrefying way.

And yes, the Gay Nazis celebrated when Santorum (thanks to Karl Rove) lost his reelection bid, and they even gloated over his little four-year-old daughter, who was crying during the concession speech. She was up there with her daddy, and her mommy and daddy were very sad -- she didn't know about all that stuff, all she knew was, her parents were deeply disappointed about something, and so she cried for them on television. The gays went nuts, cheering and jeering, and taunting the little girl with "your tears are so yummy and sweet!" We knew they were depraved already, but in their hour of victory, they boldly showed us their suppurating innermost natures, and they gloated.
