I thought Trump did an excellent job of balancing ‘campaigning’ and ‘fundraising’ during the event.
The fact that Trump donated as much or more than those he got to donate to the VETS proves he puts his money where his mouth is.
Unlike other candidates who would not have donated a dime (and as far as I can tell, didn’t)
Trump did mention one large donor from New York who donated by wanted to remain anonymous. He also said, “you know who I mean”.
I doubt it was any politician.
She doesn't have much choice. She has to do what her bosses tell her to do.
All of their managers told them they have to kiss the ring of big media so they showed up to the firing squad. Trump showed which candidate has balls and they turned out to be brass.
All day yesterday we heard he would show at the last minute and did not. That is the difference between a businessman and a politician.
That was a great story. Don’t know if it was true. Could be like the TRUMP LIMO FLAT TIRE story. It was the point that was made that was important.
However, I have a feeling that the story by John about “live well to honor your lost brothers” is true. And also a great story.

Santorum and Huckabee were both impressive when they spoke at Trump’s rally for Veterans. Also worth noting is how gracious Trump was to both of them in a situation where there was no hostility.

You said you didn't watch the event. Why would you then take the word of a poster who claims he watched, but refuses to prove it, and who has been refuted by several others who actually DID WATCH ?
Was it just because he said something that was easy to believe ? Something that you wanted to believe ? (you wouldn't be the first to do that. We all have been guilty of that at one time or another. I know I have).
