It is amazing how much energy Trump has. He has got 40 years on me and I know that I would have trouble keeping that kind of pace.
As for the Rally Poll, we could just toss it in with the food menus that we normally post. Maybe a Date and Weight?
My wife and I just had our third child after Thanksgiving. Ivanka looks closer to 7 months than 9. Her height definitely helps even out the baby weight and size of her belly.
Sessions is one of the few principled men in Congress. Not sure that he adds much clout to a Presidential ticket.
I think Huckabee and Santorum got themselves a Cabinet position last night.
Sessions would be a good VP

I agree about Huckabee and Santorum. Trump was very gracious to both of them and I think they both did a great job. Huckabee was on Morning Joe and Fox and Friends this a.m. and had nice things to say about Trump’s event and especially how great John Wayne Walding’s speech was. He also said the event wasn’t about Trump and Trump barely spoke but rather it was about the Vets and he let the Vets speak.
Like many FReepers, I chose to watch Trump’s event rather than the debate (though I did watch the 1st one with Santorum, Huckabee, Carly, and Gilmore). Glad I did - really enjoyed Trump’s event.

Congratulations to you and your wife on your third child! I was thinking the same thing about Ivanka - perhaps it was the angle or her dress, but no way did she look like she was due to deliver in 2 weeks.
He will actually call them into his office for more than a “cup of coffee”.
They will in turn love his knowledge and leadership. He will be an inspiration and “respected” by both sides of the aisle!
Today he is working on closing the deal in NH.
I feel as though we all witnessed history last night! Compelling and emotional — and absolutely brilliant! The callers on CSPAN afterward said it all! And I loved the dig to Fox at the end with the song selection. INCREDIBLE from start to finish!
I really like Sheriff Clarke from Milwaukee....a great American! Of course “John Wayne” from last night would seal a lot of deals!
That’s exactly what he will do, in addition to calling for the voters to take them down if they don’t perform. He’s going to call them out, that’s for sure.
That is one big reason why I want to see him get a huge voter mandate in as many states as possible, because it will make it much harder for them to plod along and resist.

Today Donald J. Trump hosted an event to raise money for Veterans organizations in Des Moines, Iowa. The GOP frontrunner spoke to a record crowd at Drake University and was joined by special guests, including Senator Rick Santorum and Governor Mike Huckabee, as well as Veterans, throughout the night.
Mr. Trump personally contributed $1 million dollars to the cause and raised an additional $5 million before the one-hour event concluded, totaling more than $6 million dollars.
