DES MOINES, IOWA — Bernie Sanders shut down a teenage girl who questioned the existence of manmade global warming on Thursday morning, to the delight of her classmates.
A girl who introduced herself as a a "17-year-old biracial female," said that "from looking at the evidence I've seen the last few years... I haven't seen any actual scientific evidence that global warming is actually happening."
"Thank you for your question. You're wrong," Sanders said with a chortle as the teen crowd at Theodore Roosevelt High School broke into applause.

What's really scary is all the mind-numbed children cheering him on. The parents of these children are condemning their sons and daughters to a life of misery that socialism/progressivism brings. There is no such thing as a happy progressive or socialist - unless you are one of the "leaders" who gets to decide who gets what.

I agree. I don't even click on the threads about them any more. That leaves about fifty threads a day I read. FR has devolved to near DU status over Trump/Cruz.
Sanders is comforted by the fact that there is a plethora of idiots at his disposal.
I can’t believe this clown is even being taken seriously. First off he’s a commie, second it’s like listening to Larry David. Between him and Hillary THAT is the best they got?

Sanders may be an idiot, but one that is also a True Believer. There are some articles of faith so strong with some people, that no amount of external evidence is ever going to overcome the prejudices and fixed ideas in their heads. If he believes so strongly in anthropogenic climate change, he is not likely to ever examine his belief in the perfectability of man, which is the basis for thinking socialism shall work, the next time it is tried.
The fact that he reverted to name calling (”You’re wrong”) is a further indication that critical thinking, in the sense that EVERY idea must be examined, is not present.
There are any number of college professors just like that. I applaud this young lady for even broaching on the subject, in light of the hostility that follows any challenge to the notion that carbon dioxide is the engine that drives climate change.
In one swoop a kid takes the old senile Bolshevik Bernie out. Priceless!
