The ethanol answer was a slap upside the head on Governor Branstad for intervening. I am interested to see if Branstad still keeps talking down Cruz.

More than any other election cycle I remember, this one is showing the ugly side of human nature. I do think Cruz is doing a good job trying to stay out of the dirt.
If you are going to disparage the amount Trump gives to charity it’s only fair that you tell us how much you give.
Carson is likable.....mostly because it’s in his personality itself....I have a son like that...real peacemakers...and takes a great deal to rile them...very even tempered. A pleasure to be in their company by any they bring into their circle...no matter what age they are.

It’s simple, these debates are pretty much meaningless now and have been after the third. Trump was the real winner tonight by doing something useful, not just putting money in FOX’s pocket.
He wins the day perhaps but not the next few weeks IMO.

It’s none of your business what I give to charity. I’m not the one bragging about charity donations. You guys want to come in here bragging about Trump donating a million bucks... great. But it’s nothing for Trump... it’s like you giving $100. It is what it is. Maybe Trumpy giving a million bucks impressed you. That in itself speaks volumes.
Ted just addressed Trumps gratuitous vulgarity in a civil way and then shifted gear to the economy!

Yes and I’m sure it put Iowans who might have been concerned at peace....the Gov however would loose those susidy flows for his state which is why he opposes Cruz....plus I think there was something about a family member being invested in Ethanol some way so he was protecting them as well by opposing Cruz..
