I don’t follow your comment about not being surprised. Are you saying that traditional policy passed down through the ages would have such a soldier kicked out? Or are you saying Obama’s ‘tone’ and policies are of the sort that fine soldiers are kicked out for seemingly reasonable reactions?

The best thing Trump could do for this soon to be “bad conduct discharged” soldier is offer him permanent employment in one of his many business enterprises.
The soldier may be hard pressed to find one otherwise.
I can’t even express the totality of my disgust. I am concerned for my son, a principled young man (1ST LT USMC) when I reflect that God will not protect a U.S. military which has abandoned Him.
