On today's program, Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-AR) and Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) confirmed they are willing to attend Trump's event tonight at Drake University. Asked if he would attend, Huckabee admitted, "we've put in a call to [Trump's] people and said that I'd be delighted to come." Though he has not heard back, Huckabee said, "if they say that they would be happy to have me, I'll be there."

Santorum expressed an equal willingness to attend Trump's event tonight, revealing, "after the debate I'm not going to be doing anything, so, I guess, if it's a charitable thing for the troops and he invites other people to come, I certainly would attend to support the troops." However, the former senator admitted he has not yet received an invitation.

Which Santorum lost in his last election so I wouldn’t count on his support helping in PA.

He also won Iowa last time so this endorsement will help Trump get off to a strong start and nobody will ever look back. BAD news for Cruz ( who btw I'd vote for if he were the nominee)

I see zero negative for either Trump or those two by joining the fund raiser for vets. Those two improve prospects of job offers in Trump admin and Trump should welcome support from all channels.

“Hope Cruz joins them too.”

Cruz totally destroy his credibility after taunting Trump for 2 days.

And it will make him look like a stalker.

Cruz needs the debate as a last chance to sway some votes.

people aren’t getting on this board that they are not allies, they are enemies.

neither will use the other in ANY capacity in their administration.

sheesh

Santorum is a good guy, I’ve agreed with most everything he has said. It’s sad he didn’t get more traction.

I disagree. An endorsement by Santorum would be very important in Santorum’s home state.

From my predictions December or 2014...

Huckabee: * Bill Clinton with a Banjo
Rick Santorum: * Would make a great producer for EWTN....

They are yesterday's cold cuts left out unrefrigerated on the buffet. It is time to toss them out.....

This give Huck and Santorum a bigger platform that what they had at the kiddies table.

And they will pull some evangelical votes from Cruz. Not to Trump, to them.

This could end up being a big win for Donald Trump.

“You mean the two who are at 0% in the polls, who really cares?”

They could bring Trump some more of the evangelical vote.

Santorum won Iowa in 2012 and Huckabee won it in 2008.

If Trump is nominated, I suspect of those two, he picks RS.

This keeps getting billed as a debate, it is not, nor is it going to be. It is his usual rah rah event. He should critique the fox debate during his rally!

Both are very capable men. They each have won Iowa in the past. Their tacit endorsement is valuable.

Cruz is desperately trying to get 20 points with weeks left.

it’s what candidates do.

everybody take a huge chill pill with the credibility thing.

if any of trump’s past was taken into account, he’d have none.

but he’s a great NY huckster, coming from a fellow NYer :)

Correct, if not to Trump, then to themselves. Either way those votes are denied to Cruz and Rubio.

Yes they did, and how did that work out for us or them. Especially Huckabee, he let the RINO’s run right up the middle, don’t even get me started on him, it is way beyond his time to retire and restore the old car.....

My goodness, Trump is playing the Media like a Stradivarius, and I first thought he was making a mistake skipping the Debate.
