Hillary couldn’t just be happy with the hundreds of millions of dollars of ill gotten gains. No, she just had to push it and run for the presidency. Now it looks like she may become the Establishments fall guy.
I made this point to my wife the other day - had Hillary just walked away a few years ago, she and Bill would have been off, scot free. I believe she assumed that after the Dem takeover of the federal govt from 06 to 08, she had free reign to be as corrupt as she felt she needed to be to take over DC herself in 2016. We conservatives may cry about nothing happening after mid-term wins in 2010 and 2014, but trust me, they were huge.
