Grandfather was a draft dodger and whore monger. Father ripped off the government to build government housing. Donny used illegal immigrant labor to demolish structure where Trump Tower was built. Totally fluid politically, no commitment to any principle except winning.

It is not that long an article to read.

From the article:

So it does not bother him that he is in a way betraying his own family history with his stance on immigration?

I don't think contradictions have ever bothered him, which has been confounding obviously to people observing the primary race. He is all over the map politically and I don't think it matters to him. He used to be a Democrat, but now he'll be a Republican. Now he is conservative, but he used to be liberal. He used to be for the right for an abortion, now he is hedging back on that. He used to be for immigration reform, now he is against. He moves back and forth very fluidly. I think that is the least bit of concern.

Very interesting read as well. A chip off die alte Block. I do wonder whether DW Photoshopped the background signage to block and obscure the first letter of Trump's name, leaving the word "rump" everywhere.

Not really a long read. Highly informative.
From the biographer:

You obviously have note read the well documented book but are relying on tabloid trash.

“So it does not bother him that he is in a way betraying his own family history with his stance on immigration?

Seems to me he just wants immigration to go back to what it was back when his ancestors came to this country, what betrayal is that?

The poster asked for a summary of the article posted here. I gave a summary of it. What would your summary be?

That wasn’t a question posed by me but by the author’s interviewer.

I would love more immigrants from Europe - the way it used to be. I just posted the author’s opinion of Trump’s total lack of principle which I happen to agree with.

Trump = Mussolini making the trains run on time regardless of the means.
