“Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz said late Tuesday that Donald Trump’s fear of defending his record is behind the GOP front-runner’s boycott of the next Fox News GOP presidential debate.”
Trump’s numbers have gone up after each debate. Not so for Cruz.
I see why his followers are such jerks, resorting to insults and lies. They are just like he is. He only pretended to be classy. Typical politician.
perhaps cruz has already sorted his citizenship and knows he is elegiable.. The question the trump supporters raised is more “when did you stop beating your wife?” it already makes the assumption that you where beating your wife.
There was nothing wrong with that question, and it gave Donald a chance to refute the impression that some people had of him.
Instead, he pouted and attacked.
Bingo
Lol. Keep right on ‘dreaming’. We won’t disturb your slumber. ;-)
WRONG. He did no such thing, and YOU KNOW THAT.
OUR SIDE NEVER compromised they just bent over and gave the DEMS and of course their lobbyists EVERYTHING they wanted!!! They gave WE THE PEOPLE the middle finger!!!!!

Didn’t miss that.
Quite the resonant chameleon Der Trumpenfuhrer.
not long ago there was 20 debates. 6 or 7 is nothing.
or hours ago... cutting deals with dem leadership? really?
When have they been known to “cut a deal” that helped republicans?
Taking the 3d view the author you quoted is using, let’s say that Trump’s team figured out that there’s no way to have a big victory in Iowa, but rather than take it as a narrow loss or victory, decides to instead bow out of the debate with x as an excuse.
If Trump wins, the people back his decision, if he losses, the talking heads will undoubtedly blame skipping the debate for the loss. Either way, the story shifts from a Cruz victory. Ouch.
If he showed up he might have won...
but he isn’t so he will lose.
This is the hand Cruz has to play, given Donald’s excellent side-step.
Gosh, I love seeing politics played so expertly by both of these guys.
The Disco Duck?
He makes about as much sense.
and mainly alone.. Cruz has tried to stop that....

You are correct. We had 27 debates, townhalls in 2012. The REPUBLICAN PARTY decided lower the maximum debates allowed because the party wisely realized that the debates were used against our eventual Republican nominee when the general election came.
thats funny right there...
