But seriously, what good is a debate without the frontrunner? There is little upside for Cruz, just the airtime and to be able to claim he isn't afraid of Kelly (insinuating that Trump is). Mostly, he'd be the target of the others, especially of Rubio and Jeb. Suddenly, the main stage has turned into the kiddie debate.

We may see others bail out before Thursday night.
