Fox News head will let Trump walk before replacing Megyn Kelly as debate moderator

Here we go again. Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump is publicly toying with the idea of bailing on a debate. He claims Fox News host Megyn Kelly, one of three moderators for Thursday's event in Des Moines, Iowa, is biased against him. So he might not show.

Exhibiting the resolute decision-making skills required of a commander-in-chief, Trump has asked the Twitterverse to help him choose whether to attend or not.

“Trump’s afraid of the girl.”

Regardless, people still won’t vote for Teddy bear.

As usual, Trump’s not taking any chit from the MSM. Good for him!
And the also-rans will lick the hands that beat them ... as usual.

Fox News is part of The Ministry of Propaganda
They work for The Cheap Labor Express
Their mission at the moment is to take down Trump
Their overall mission is to make sure The Cheap Labor Express gets the amnesty candidate they paid the RNC for.
Or try to make it look legitimate when the RNC rigs it.

Fox doesn't have to be objective when it comes to defending their own reporters against Trump's attacks.

Megyn Kelly has been sitting there promoting Glenn Beck as the most "consequential" conservative and pushing the RINOs at National Review. If Fox wants to host a debate, they'd better be objective.

I know that does not make sense to you, since you've, apparently, gone insane over the past couple of weeks. You were not this unhinged before.

He was never interested in going to the last debate. There was no advantage in his going to the debate. People already knows who he is, and what he’s got to say.

The debate would have been just another opportunity for reporters to try to get a “gotcha!” gaff out of him.

This was his excuse for not going.

While Trump is not my go to candidate, Faux News can go to Hell and Megyn Kelly can drop dead. I’m as sick of them as I am of the liberal Republican party.

Exactly. There is nothing to gain. And everyone wants to knock out the king. Screw Fox and their sleazy bag of BS tricks.

I read on Dc Whispers that he would encounter some type of set-up. Good. Spending an evening with vets much better. Too many damn debates.

I didn't say he couldn't handle it, I argue there is nothing at all to gain except more negative press than would be generated by not going.

BTW, whether he is the ready to be nominee doesn't depend on whether he submits to a losing forum.

Ted Cruz just proposed to Mark Levin that he host a debate between just him and Trump.

I'll bet Trump quickly accepts.

To be perfectly honest, I have never liked Donald Trump.
Never read his books, never watched his TV show.
I was one of those scoffing at the very idea of him running.

He has run like no one has before.

He really wants to win, I’m unaccustomed to seeing that in a Republican.

He has also demonstrated an ability to go over the heads of the media that we have not seen in quite some time.

He’s not standing up to the media though.

He’s running from a girl.

I can’t stand her half the time myself, but to pout and say “my way or the highway” because a girl wasn’t fair to him is very immature...

Same with me, Never read his books or watched his programme,
I was on this forum and there was a link to his rally. His rally was fun to watch and he was hitting issues important to me. We need strong leader. Otherwise no hope.

“Hopefully Cruz points out that we can’t risk a candidate so irresponsible and temperamental that if he gets in a tiff with a reporter, he would walk out on a debate against the Democrat nominee, putting our party in jeopardy over his own fragile ego.”

You are delusional if you think this is about temprament! This is about “conditioning the battlefield.”

He's not standing up to the media though.

Yes he is. The media gets away with murder because they rely on the fact that every politician believes that they have no choice put to put up with them. Trump is showing that politicians don't need them. He is standing up to them in the only way that they will understand.

Immature? Not at all. Brilliant? Yes. Courageous? Absolutely. Game-changing in terms of damaging the DC Cartel? We will see, but it is a very good start.
