I inherited my Dad’s RCBS press w/30-06 dies. Reloaded shotshells for skeet but rifle not so much. Will have to watch some vids on how to reload for rifle.

Well, of course we don’t know the day or the hour but we, as children of light should know the “times and the seasons.” As you, I believe we are definitely in the end times and, as the song says, “It’s the Final Countdown...”

Jesus could come at anytime and a lot of things say the end is imminent, as you say within a year or two. Although I agree that is what it looks like, what God has given me and in his word and the witness in my spirit, tells me it’s still at least a few decades away.
For one thing, we have not yet seen the prophetic latter rain of the Church to which Jude 3 alludes in reestablishing “the faith that was once delivered to the saints.” That faith that was once delivered to the saints is the gospel of the grace of Christ (Gal 1:6) which has been lost for so long but is now spreading like wildfire across the Church worldwide.
This, the true gospel of the grace of Christ, is, I believe, the latter rain which will bring greater signs and wonders than the early church (the “former rain”) which our loving, gracious God will use to compel those in the “highways and hedges to come in [to the marriage supper of the Lamb], that My house may be filled” (Luke 14:23). I believe God, in his great grace, love, and mercy will forestall the inevitable for yet a short time (a few decades I believe) for this last wave of salvation of the lost before he comes for us and it all comes crashing down.
It is a good thing to be able to do. I upgraded a lot of my reloading equipment 2 years ago. But have been reloading since I was a kid. Was primarily shot shell back then, but reloaded for my Remington 221 Fireball since the mid 1970’s, sweet shooting pistol.
I made an effort 2 years ago to be able to reload for almost all of our guns.
Is this over-reacting to the current situation? Don’t know. But I did it none the less.
Have lots of components on hand and can cast bullets for many if need be.
You might go to a local gun shop and see if there is someone who could mentor you on your specific reloading project. You might find some old retiree that loves guns and will give you an education.
Have you calculated the cost of components vs factory made?
Of course.
I can reload my 30-30 brass for about $.12-15 per round. (assuming cast lead bullets)
And they shoot well for that application. I have other calibers that are not practical to use cast bullets in. Longer range and faster loads.
Brass is expensive. Most cost between $.75-1.50 per round. But they can be reloaded.
Supply is better than it was 2 years ago. And I get specials from supplies weekly by email. I don’t shoot that much, but have enough.
Those prices are crazy. Must be made of unobtainium.

It appears to me that the resistance to the gun grabs will happen at the state level. And that is the level where other resistance to Rogue Unconstitutional Federal actions will take place.
If it means defending TX will I be willing to take part? Yes, without a doubt. But I do not belong to any “group”.
Am I vigilant to Federal abuse of power? You bet you. I am hyper sensitive to that.

I’m not defending them. What they are doing is not sane.
The outcome will not be good.
BUT, the original abuse of power of the courts in dealing with the Hammonds is clearly way out of line. And would never have happened if we did not live in the ObamaNation.
