Stationed at Patrick 1975-1976. Loved it. Wish they had let me stay longer.

My dad was stationed at Patrick, 68-76. Flew the radar planes that tracked the Apollo and Skylab missions. I currently live right across the river from Patrick. He loved his Patrick assignment.

Sep 1975 the AF Titan3E launched NASA Viking One and two missions to Mars. During my 30 year AF and contractor career that was one of my fav TDYs to PatrickAFB. Maybe 300 trips there. Titan and Atlas space launches had me stationed at LAAFB,CA. 66-96.
